A Free CRM You Download. No Monthly Bill. No Cloud.

PHIT Simple CRM is one file that tracks your leads, follow-ups, and pipeline — from first call to money in the bank. It runs in your browser, works with no internet, and your data never leaves your computer.

No account. No email. Nothing you type is ever uploaded.

What is PHIT Simple CRM?

It's a free customer and lead tracker for one-person and small service businesses, delivered as a single HTML file. Open it in any browser — or download it and run it with no internet — and it saves everything on your own computer, never to a server. It replaces the $39–$599/month CRM subscription for solo operators who just need to know who to call today and what's in the pipeline.

What's inside

This isn't a demo or a "lite" teaser. It's the whole product: a Today dashboard, a pipeline board, and a searchable contact list — the three views a small service business actually uses.

A CSS sketch of the real thing — open the CRM above to use it live.

Today dashboard

Overdue and due-today follow-ups at the top, pipeline totals by stage under them. Open it with your coffee and you know exactly who to call.

Pipeline board

Six columns from New to Won/Lost with dollar totals per stage. One click advances a lead; marking it Won asks for the final job amount.

Lead list + search

Every contact in a sortable table. Press / and type — name, phone, job type, or notes — and it filters as you type.

Activity log

Log a call, text, email, or note on any contact in two clicks, time-stamped. Next spring you'll know exactly what you quoted and when.

Autosave + backups

Every change saves instantly on your device, with a "last saved" indicator. Export a JSON backup any time; import it on a new machine and pick up where you left off.

CSV export

Send your contact list to Excel or Google Sheets in one click — your data is never trapped here. Deleted something by mistake? There's an Undo.

How to use it

Open the CRM (button above) — or download the file and double-click it. Either way it's the same app; no account, nothing to install.

Add your leads — name, phone, job type, estimated value, and a next follow-up date. Or hit "Load sample data" first to see how it feels.

Work the Today view each morning: call the overdue list, log what happened, set the next follow-up. That habit alone wins jobs.

Move leads across the board as they progress. Mark them Won with the final dollar amount and watch your Won column grow.

Export a JSON backup once a week. It's one click, and it's the file that moves your data to a new computer if you ever need to.

What the paid alternatives cost

PHIT Simple CRM

$0
forever · no signup
  • Leads, pipeline, follow-ups
  • Works offline, one file
  • Data stays on your computer
  • No contract — you own the file

Jobber

$39–$599
per month · 2026 published pricing
  • Core $39/mo is one user
  • +$29/mo each extra user
  • Realistic stack with add-ons ≈ $527/mo
  • Full field-service suite

Podium

$399–$599
per month · 2026 published pricing
  • Real-world single location: $450–600/mo with fees
  • 12-month contracts
  • Cancellation penalties
  • Reviews & messaging platform

Typical 2026 published figures — Jobber tiers and per-user pricing via serviceagent.ai's 2026 analysis; Podium real-world costs via astucia.io's 2026 review (NiceJob, a lighter review tool, runs $75/mo). Verify current pricing yourself; plans change.

To be fair to the paid guys: Jobber schedules crews, sends invoices, and takes card payments. Podium is a reviews-and-messaging platform, not a CRM. If you need those things, they can earn their keep — run the numbers with our lead cost calculator and see what a booked job really costs you first. But if what you actually need is "who do I call today and what's my pipeline worth," you've been paying $470+ a month for a spreadsheet with reminders. This does that part for free.

The honest limits

It's one person, one computer. There's no login, no sync, no phone app. Your data lives in one browser on one machine — Export/Import JSON moves it between machines, but it won't keep two people in sync.

It won't schedule crews, invoice, or chase reviews. For paperwork, pair it with our free invoice generator — and there are more free tools on the tools hub.

Browser storage is real storage, but back it up. Clearing your browser data clears the CRM too. The Export JSON button exists for a reason — use it weekly.

When you've got three trucks and an office manager, you'll outgrow this — and you'll know it when it happens. Until then, why pay?

Common questions

Is this CRM really free?

Yes. No trial, no paid tier, no card on file. The whole CRM is one HTML file that runs in your browser. There is nothing to upgrade to — this is the whole product.

Where is my data stored?

In your browser's local storage, on your own computer. Nothing you type is ever uploaded — there is no server to upload it to. Use Export JSON any time to save a backup file you control.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Clearing site data wipes the CRM's storage too. So take a JSON backup once a week — it's one click, and Import brings everything back exactly as it was. The same rule applies to the downloaded copy.

Can my whole crew use it?

It's built for one person on one computer. There's no login and no syncing, so a five-person office would overwrite each other's work. One owner or office manager running the pipeline from one machine is the sweet spot.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Click Download and the file runs from your desktop with no internet at all. Saving, searching, exporting, and importing all work offline — it never phones home.

Why would a web design company give away a CRM?

Because we build websites service businesses own outright, and a genuinely useful free tool is the best introduction we know how to make. There's no catch — no email gate, no upsell inside the app.

Built by PHIT Web

This CRM is a free tool from a company that builds websites you own — the same way you own this file. Want the phone to ring so there's something to put in that pipeline? We'll show you your homepage free, before you pay a dollar.
